Pretty Picture of the Week

20151214_100221.jpg

Another one of my clicks during my visit to Chandigarh, earlier this month.

Something about this flower attracted and fascinated me – the imperfections, the dual colours, its full bloom while others around it are either only half-way there or still are unopened buds, offering untold promises of beauty contained within.

This sightΒ reminds me of life, laughter, sorrows and our attempts to fulfill our dreams – some of us are already there, others like me have probably figured out what they want and are working towards it, yet others are in learning or budding stage full of potential and promise.

What does this sight remind you of?

Wow ! It’s a beautiful sight indeed ! Is this a flower graden in Chandigarh ? Each new flower and leaf reminds us of God’s love and not to force anything, for good things happen in the right time. πŸ™‚

It reminds me of the quietness, getting back to basics with Mother Nature, grounding & balancing of myself.

It is a beautiful flower. I love the contrast in colors. I’m a very visual thinker, apparently, so my first thought on seeing it was that it had sprung a leak in the bottom right-hand corner and all the red had run out. πŸ™‚

πŸ˜€ now, every time i look at it, i’ll try to find the source of the leak πŸ˜€

Thank You! I agree, they are indeed beautiful! Though mine are English Roses. We used to have a beautiful rose garden, a long time ago. You brought back some wonderful memories with that comment. Thank you πŸ™‚

An unusual picture. Reminds me of my mom. She’s got a dual personality – we at home get to see one, and those outside see the other.

I present the softer side of her, so don’t be misled. Diwali crackers should be enjoyed from a distance πŸ˜€
