24 May Story Continuation Challenge Season Finale

The Story Continuation Challenge ran for 11 straight weeks and some amazing stories came out of it. The prompts were as difficult as I could make them and yet the ones who participated wrote such brilliant stories that it sometimes made us sad, sometimes angry, sometimes all goey and warm-hearted and always left us wanting more.

For last week’s challenge, we were treated to wonderful stories written by Amanda and Sonali. I really enjoyed reading them both a lot, as despite being written on the same prompt, both were so different in theme and plot and yet each one was as heart-touching and emotional as the other. But being a sucker for romance, my personal favourite was Sandra’s short story that took me to Paris for a short while. Do pay them all a visit and read all three stories as they are definitely a must-read!

In addition to that, we also have another major and exciting news to share. We all know that all the stories that were written on these prompts were really good. But, hold your breath, so well-written and brilliantly narrated were some of these stories that two of them were picked up by a publishing company – Readomania – and published online as part of their collection of short stories.

Heartiest congratulations to Rashmi Menon ( The Intergalactic Journey) and Sonali Mukherjee (A Neatly Pinned Photo) for this wonderful achievement.

And although I loved hosting this challenge and reading the wonderful stories you wrote, Story Continuation Challenge comes to an end for now. But the fun doesn’t end here. We’ll all keep visiting your blogs to read more stories from you.
